Meet Cody, co-owner, and the one who started it all. Cody grew up on a farm in southern Michigan and spent much of his childhood working on old bikes, farm machinery, and classic cars. He attended the University of Northwestern Ohio where he earned an associates degree in automotive service technology. After he graduated, he worked as a mechanic in Michigan before moving out west to work in the oil fields of Wyoming. He then moved to the Nashville area in 2006 with a dream of someday starting his own business. By 2009 he was working as a mobile mechanic out of the back of his old Chrysler. Since then, God has grown his business exponentially. In 2013, he expanded to a shop near downtown Franklin, and by the end of 2016 he obtained his TN dealer license making business grow even faster. Cody's crew at the shop continued to expand as well, and they quickly outgrew the small one bay shop that they were renting. In July of 2018, Cody was able to purchase a much larger, 17 bay shop on the same street in Franklin and a shop in Columbia as well. Cody is humbled daily by all that God has done in and through the business in such a short time, and he is committed to providing honest, high quality care to his customers and demonstrating the love of Christ in the shop each and every day. On the weekends, you can find him spending time outdoors with his wife Megan and their 5 beautiful daughters.
- fil@codysautomotive.com
Meet Fil, our multi-talented co-owner. He grew up in Florida and moved to the Nashville area in 2002 where he worked as the general parts manager at Honda for 10 years. He also worked for several years as a firefighter for the Nashville Fire Department before coming to work full time at Cody's in 2018. Fil is both a jack of all trades and a master of ALL (cooking, mechanics, business, art)....honestly, this guy can do anything! When God brought Fil and Cody together, it was a providential connection. Cody and his wife, Megan had been searching and praying for several years for a devoted partner who could lead and manage the business side of the shop and ultimately lead them into greater growth and expansion, financially and spiritually. When Fil began working part time with Cody in 2014, it became obvious that he was the answer to the couple's prayer. Fil's experience and knowledge of parts, inventory, management, and customer care have been indispensable. He is both hard-working and humorous, and he brings a level of professionalism to the shop that would not exist without him. When he is not at work, you will find him spending time at his home in Thompson's Station with his beautiful wife Judy and their four children.
- jameson@codysautomotive.com
Jameson is our newest addition to the sales department! He is very excited for the upcoming growth he sees in this next season and helping to facilitate that. He can't wait to expand the range of available vehicles by offering many years, makes, mileages etc. In his free time, Jameson loves playing soccer (often with Hector), fishing, and working on cars.
- adam@codysautomotive.com
Adam is the general manager here at the shop-- he runs the show! He's been with us for almost three years now. Before joining us in the automotive world, he managed a Japanese motorcycle facility. One goal Adam has for this year is to get back into amateur motorbike racing and take first place once more! When not at the shop, you can usually find Adam either at church or at home with his wife Lydia and his two sweet, curious kids. Fun Fact: he actually met his wife because she drove a classic '75 mini cooper that definitely caught his eye!
- rye@codysautomotive.com
Rye is our back of the house manager and shop big brother. He has been in the automotive industy for 26 years, originally going to school for business in hopes of becoming a service manager. Rye keeps us stocked on sweet tea and lolipops here at the shop. One of his bucketlist items is to someday fly on a plane for the fist time in his life. He is working on two years here at Cody's Automotive and has been a great asset, bringing knowledge and unity to our shop!
- jordan@codysautomotive.com
Jordan is one of the bright smiling faces you're most likely to see at our front desk! In his free time he enjoys listening to audiobooks and hosting friends to his home; hospitality a huge passion of his and it's why he is a perfect addition to our shop! He and his amazing wife Hannah are expecting baby boy Roman this upcoming year, and he can't wait to step into a new role of being a loving dad. Fun fact: Jordan was somewhat of a local celebrity in the past; he drove a unique car with license plates all over the roof and people all around Spring Hill loved spotting him!
- admin@codysautomotive.com
Ashley is one of our sweet team members that greets you at the door. Before joining us, she was the assistant principal at a preschool. This skillset may or may not come in handy often around the shop...
All jokes aside, she is truly such a breath of fresh air to our team. When not at work, she spends most of her time at local coffeeshops and exploring nature. One goal she has for this next year is to buy a house with her husband Josiah (another team member) and maybe start a family!

Meet Judy! She is married to Fil (one of our co-owners) and is also one of our faithful employees at Cody's Automotive. She comes from a banking background and assists in the accounting/ bookkeeping side of the business as well as being one of the faces you'll see up front in our office. Judy has been in the automotive industry for years and even worked at Honda with her husband before coming to Cody's. You may not get to see her as much now as she recently had a beautiful baby boy and is out of the office taking care of her sweet family.
Robby has been an invaluable asset to our Cody's family for the past two years. He is truly one of the most diligent and teachable guys out there-- he really gets it done! In his free time, he enjoys tinkering with computer hardware and he loves racing videogames. One thing Robby is working toward in the future is to save up to buy a townhome.

Bob is one our amazing employees and such an answer to prayer here at Cody's Automotive. We have been working with Bob for many years as he has been in the parts industry for over a decade. We are so thankful to have had him on our team for the past four years as he is definitely a well of knowledge. Bob is also a very talented drummer and has played in a Christian rock/metal band for years. His dream is to someday play a show in front of 100,000 people. He also hopes to someday drive across the country. He is a rock star both in our shop and on the stage.
Meet Samuel! He got his start in the automotive industry by washing cars from the time he was 13 years old and working his way up to becoming a master technician. He has been working on cars for 18 years now! Samuel's dreams are to be a dad, which he has recently achieved with a beautiful baby girl, and go skydiving, which he has yet to do. Don't let him fool you when he says he doesn't have any hobbies as he sings, plays the drums, guitar, piano, and bass.
Maloy is one of our newer team members and never fails to keep us all smiling. He joined our team last year as a step toward his final career goal: welding. But he did not expect to find such amazing friends-- one could even say family-- through Cody's. In his free time, he loves riding dirt bikes with his kids and "just spending as much time with them" as he can.
The team would not be complete without Rick! He is an absolute answer to prayer! In one of our busiest seasons, he came our way and was a perfect fit. Rick used to work at Autobody Advantage and upon their closing transitioned to working here at Cody's Automotive. Rick is a father to 4 daughters, one son, and is a grandpa to 2 granddaughters. He is using his gift of being a Master technician and many years of experience to serve our customers well and help us grow into the best team we can be. We love getting to have him here and we think you will too!
This is Hector, our "B" level technician. He is one of our youngest employees at the shop, but already has a great amount of experience in the automotive industry. He has been working on vehicles for 5 years now, and has been trained up by Samuel (his uncle and one of our wonderful master technicians). Hector lives and breathes cars, buying his own to work on on the weekends in hopes of growing his skill and knowledge. He keeps all of us laughing and is like our little brother here at the shop. His dream is to someday open his own automotive shop!
Meet Alan! Alan started out detailing at our shop and has showed us his skills moving his way into being our general service technician. Alan is currently in school and working with us for the second half of his day. He is extremely dedicated and pays great attention to detail (...get it...because he details cars). We are so blessed to have him as part of our team!!!
